dynagroove band membersLead vocalist, David Fields, has roots that run deep in American music. Growing up in the music holy land of East Tennessee and learning from his musician father, has given David a true sense of his own musical destiny. Country, Bluegrass, Southern Rock, and Blues were David's staples. His hero, Merle Haggard, influenced his musical sensibility and helped give him his own unique vocal style.

With powerful and commanding vocals, this multitalented performer leads the Dynagroove Allstars through their Blues repertoire and helps provide their distinctive sound. David is also an accomplished drummer and guitarist. Carrying on the family's musical heritage, David's 10 year old daughter, Lyndsey, is proving to be a musical force in her own right. Lyndsey has performed in countless public venues and shows the promise of an exceptional singer.

dynagroove band membersHailing from New York City, guitarist Peter Roze has worked with several veterans of the swing era. Additionally, Peter has performed with legendary artist Charles Walker and Johnny Jones' R&B Review. While in Nashville, Peter had the opportunity to work with another legend, bassist Bob Babbit. As well as being a brilliant guitarist, this multi-instrumentalist is a much in demand bassist performing in the Broadway musical road shows, Big River and Ring of Fire.

Peter notes his biggest influences as Charlie Christian, Wes Montgomery, Jeff Beck, Leslie West, Jimi Hendrix C,S,N,&Y, James Taylor, Chaka Khan, just to name a few. Peter's guitar work lends a tasteful, bluesy jazz style to the Dynagroove Allstars.

dynagroove band membersBassist Gregg Germony began his musical career in Buffalo, New York, which served as his base while performing road gigs throughout the US and Canada. Gregg has also toured Europe, Asia, and the Middle East with the Horning Brothers via the DOD. Since moving to Nashville, Gregg has established himself as a highly respected studio musician, appearing on 1,000's of demos and jingles and is currently the house bass player at the Song Closet. Additionally, he has recorded with Billy Burks and John Heinrich and played on many Gospel sessions at Gene Breden's studio.

Gregg studied with legendary Motown bassist Bob Babbit, who he notes as one of his greatest influences, in addition to James Jamerson, Roscoe Beck, and Paul Chambers. Gregg has worked with many notable artists, including Clarence Dobbins, Delbert McClinton, T. Graham Brown, Abby Burke, Ryan Murphey, and David Ball.

dynagroove band membersA native of the US Southwest, drummer Carlos Ruiz has made his home in Nashville for the past seven years playing in a variety of projects. A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Carlos is an accomplished drummer and percussionist and is active with the Nashville Jazz Workshop.

Carlos' style is a direct result of his strongest musical influences which include American, Cuban and Brazilian Jazz, Progressive Rock, and R&B. As drummer for the Allstars, Carlos' diverse background coalesces to lend a solid foundation to their unique Blues style.

Keyboardist Doug Overfield hails from Henderson, Kentucky and holds a music degree from Western Kentucky University. Doug has performed with a variety of artists, including Tommy James and the Shondells. He has also played shows in Opryland Theme Park and has done numerous studio sessions in Nashville.

Doug notes his influences as Tower of Power, Billy Joel, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Elton John. A talented and versatile keyboardist, Doug is also an accomplished Classical pianist.

dynagroove band membersOriginally from Upstate New York, guitarist Al Rowe arrived in Nashville in 1998 with more than two decades as a performing musician, working in venues from Texas to Ohio and Florida to New York. As a multi-instrumentalist Al has performed in a variety of projects, often doubling on pedal steel.

With a lifetime immersed in Rock, Country, and Blues music, this self-taught musician sites his early influences as Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Billy Gibbons. His playing style brings a raw, earthy-sound to the band's mix.
